Emma Parfrement
Director

Emma has spent the past 15 years working in the pharmaceutical arena both on the company and agency side. She has experienced all areas of the relationship building dynamics from working as a medical representative after completing her Biological Sciences degree, through to creating and implementing both advertising/branding and medical communications strategies.

Disillusionment within the field of medical communications was going lead Emma to turn her back on the pharmaceutical industry and retrain as an obesity counsellor specialising in using CBT and TA group work to change behaviours.

Over a number of months her passion and enthusiasm for medical science could create a movement to promote change. It is possible to create a better more positive relationships between pharmaceutical experts and physicians. It will take individual presence to stand up and behave differently but it will also need united commitment to really drive this forward. The aim of myPHID is to create an international community that will work as the activator of this process
