• Make authentic alignments within the community that will benefit patient care and personal development.

• Find out where the best research is taking place for your disease-specific need and contact the lead investigators.

• Nominate an alignment that you have been part of that you feel positive about and that demonstrates the value of interactions between physicians and industry.

• Describe an alignment that you have felt uncomfortable about and share improvements from that experience that will help other PHID professionals avoid mistakes.
